Kinvent Expert Pack

The K-Deltas are what define this pack. They are Kinvent's large-surface force plates, categorised for dynamic force, symmetry and jump analysis, and the surface area is the point: a person can land on them, step across them or drive through them, which a small plate cannot accommodate. Kinvent publish 2000 kg of capacity per platform, an accuracy figure of ±0.1%, a sampling rate of 1000 Hz / 2000 Hz (Full CoP) and 20 hours of continuous operation per charge for those platforms. Paired with the K-Myo surface electromyograph, the pack records the two things a dynamic task produces at once, the force under the feet and the activation in the muscle.

Its itemised contents are seven sensors: K-Push, K-Pull, K-Move, K-Grip with its accessory, K-Bubble, K-Myo with accessories, and the K-Deltas. K-Deltas, and the numbers behind them

Kinvent list the K-Deltas under dynamic force, symmetry and jump analysis, and they are the only sensor in this pack with a published sampling rate. Take-off in a countermovement jump is over in a fraction of a second, so 1000 Hz / 2000 Hz decides whether impulse and the shape of the force build survive into the analysis or get averaged away. Two thousand kilos of capacity on each plate leaves headroom above a loaded athlete landing from height.

Jump and symmetry

One platform per leg, one number per side

Kinvent name three jump protocols on these plates: the countermovement jump, the squat jump and the drop jump. Because the two platforms read independently, any two-footed task becomes a two-channel measurement and the app reports the Limb Symmetry Index between the sides. Single-leg protocols run on one plate at a time, which is the format a return-to-sport conversation usually asks for.

K-Deltas against the K-Force Plates

Kinvent build both, and they are not interchangeable. The K-Force Plates are the portable, vertical-force option at roughly 600 kg per platform and 11.02 lbs, built around centre of pressure, the Romberg test and weight distribution in standing work. The K-Deltas carry a far larger surface, 2000 kg per plate and a published sampling rate, which is what jump, landing and isometric testing asks for. This pack itemises the K-Deltas. The Ultimate Solution Pack is the rung that itemises both systems together.

Kinvent describe it as capturing real-time muscle activation data during movement, reported in the app as activation, timing and coordination. Its itemised contents do not include the K-Force Plates. Kinvent's own marketing text for this pack describes it as building on the pack below, which does carry them, and the two statements disagree. We publish the itemised list, because the itemised list is what ships. If you want both plate systems in one order, the Ultimate Solution Pack itemises the K-Force Plates and the K-Deltas together.
Kinvent categorise them under dynamic force, symmetry and jump analysis. The published figures are 2000 kg of capacity per platform, an accuracy of ±0.1%, a sampling rate of 1000 Hz / 2000 Hz (Full CoP) and 20 hours of continuous operation per charge. Kinvent do not publish the test conditions behind the accuracy figure, so read it as the manufacturer's own statement.

Four measurements the plates cannot take. K-Push reads isometric force pressed into a pad, published up to 90 kg with 0.1 kg accuracy. K-Pull reads tensile force along an anchored line, which keeps the tester out of the load path. K-Grip reads peak grip force. K-Bubble reads force through air inside a soft accessory, for positions where a rigid pad has nowhere to sit. K-Move adds joint range of motion at better than 0.5 degrees.
No. Every sensor in this pack pairs to the Kinvent app, which is how Kinvent build the range. For the K-Deltas they also name a Smart Mode that automates testing and analysis and a Group Mode for sessions running several athletes one after another.
Yes. Every sensor itemised here has its own RFA listing, and the pack exists to put them in one order with the subscription attached. Priced one by one the seven sensors come to a little under the pack figure, and the difference covers the twelve-month subscription that comes with it.
Neither is itemised for this pack. A duffle bag is listed with the Evolution Pack and with the Ultimate Solution Pack, and plate frames are listed only at the top of the ladder. Kinvent list force plate frames as their own item, both standalone and in a version supplied with the K-Force Plates.
Several things a buyer would reasonably ask for. There is no warranty term published for any sensor in it. Battery life is published for the K-Deltas at 20 hours and for the K-Move at 7 hours, and for K-Push, K-Pull, K-Grip, K-Bubble and K-Myo it is not published at all. K-Grip carries no force range or accuracy figure, K-Pull carries no load capacity, and K-Myo carries no sampling rate in Hz despite Kinvent describing the rate as high. Ask us before you buy on any of those assumptions and we will put the question to Kinvent in writing.
