Chattanooga Intelect shortwave Diplode

The Chattanooga Intelect shortwave Diplode is an inductive applicator for the Intelect SWD100 shortwave diathermy unit: a curved rectangular drum of 18 x 39 cm, the larger of the unit's two inductive drums. An inductive applicator is a coil housed in a drum, positioned over the treatment area and carried on the unit's electrode arm. Output through the Diplode is the unit's full 0 to 100 W continuous at 50 ohm and 0 to 200 W pulsed, at 27.12 MHz.

It is a separate purchase, because the applicator supplied among the SWD100 standard accessories is the 14 cm round Monode drum. The two drums differ in the area the applicator covers, and a room working both large and small fields keeps both and changes them over at the electrode arm.
