  • Reduces inflammation - Cold therapy reduces inflammation throughout the body and boosts the immune system through stimulation of the vagus nerve.
  • Better recovery and performance - Cold therapy reduces muscle soreness and pain by constricting blood flow to muscles, reducing swelling and muscle spasms.
  • Increases metabolism - Cold therapy increases metabolism up to 350% as the body has to burn fat and sugar to increase core body temperature.
  • Enhances sleep quality - Cold therapy promotes deeper and more restful sleep by regulating body temperature and reducing stress levels.
  • Boosts mental clarity and focus - Cold therapy boosts alertness and mental clarity by stimulating the release of a hormone that enhances brain function.

  • Peace of Mind - The Cold Life has the most highly rated support & reliability ratings in the industry!
  • Vertical Design - The most optimal way to experience a cold plunge

Why a Vertical Cold Plunge?

  • Better Temperature Acclimation - It is easier to control the depth of immersion when entering a vertical cold plunge. This allows you to gradually acclimate to the cold by submerging your body slowly, starting with your feet and working up.
  • Diaphragmatic Breathing - Laying down causes your diaphragm to work against gravity, which can make deep breathing more difficult. Sitting upright facilitates better breathing which is crucial for relaxation and acclimatization.
  • Improved Circulation - The upright position promotes better circulation of blood and fluids throughout the body. In a horizontal position, blood flow can be more restricted in certain areas, making it harder for your body to adapt to the cold and maintain a stable internal temperature.
  • Ease Of Entry & Exit - Entering and exiting a vertical cold plunge is generally easier and safer. In a bathtub, the process of getting in and out can be awkward and potentially hazardous due to the need to maneuver in a slippery, horizontal space, increasing the risk of slipping or falling.
