TrueForm Runner Curved Treadmill

The TRUEFORM.RUNNER is the original TrueForm, handcrafted in Wisconsin from heavy-gauge steel with machined components. TrueForm describes the run on it as heavier, planted and deliberate next to the lighter Trainer, and there is no motor anywhere in it.

The Runner opens up on configuration where the Trainer keeps things simple. It takes five running surfaces, from Kraiburg rubber through turf and track to a Naboso barefoot belt, either of two displays, and a frame in powder black or white.

Five Belts For Five Kinds Of Training

Kraiburg rubber is the standard slat: durable, shock absorbing and grippy, with a responsive feel underfoot. Turf lets cleat-sport athletes train in their cleats and gives barefoot runners the sensation of grass. Track mimics the feel of a competition-grade running track, for sprinters who want to wear their spikes and for distance runners. Naboso is the barefoot-only belt, and custom colour turf is the fifth option.

Four Numbers Or A Touchscreen

The standard display shows pace, distance, time and speed, and it runs on a battery with no wall plug. TrueTouch is the other direction: live performance tracking, Bluetooth, an HDMI port and built-in apps including Netflix and Zwift, on a touchscreen interface. Which one suits you comes down to whether a screen helps your session or interrupts it.

In Wisconsin. The Runner is the model TrueForm builds in the USA; the Trainer is designed and engineered in house and built at TrueForm's overseas facility.
15 weeks. Order the configuration you want, and plan the room around that date before the crate arrives.
Kraiburg rubber is the standard and suits most running. Turf is for athletes who want to train in cleats, and for barefoot runners after the feel of grass. Track mimics a competition-grade running surface and takes spikes. Naboso is a barefoot-only belt. Custom colour turf is the fifth option.
On the right belt, yes. The track surface is the one designed for sprinters who want to wear their spikes, and the turf belt is designed for cleat-sport athletes training in their cleats. Neither is the standard rubber slat.

"If you've been contemplating between a more traditional treadmill vs a curved manual. Contemplate no more, this is one of the best purchases I have made for running and my family/I's health. I purchased the white, with kraiburg rubber. Definitely durable and made for the long haul. I also recommend most of the youtube videos out there to assist with learning to correct your form. I was originally worried that I would not be able to get it through my front door, with a width of 36". My front door is exactly 36". However, the 36" measurement for the treadmill is for the widest point to include the handrails being attached. When you unbox they are not attached and can be brought in seprately. The bottom portion's width is slightly over 31". Completely possible to bring it through without having to turn it on its side. A ramp of some sort is highly recommended but can be brought inside, without the handrails attached. Do take care when rolling off of the pallet and to where you will be taking it. There are wires dangling by one of the wheels for the display that you will need to attach at a later point in the set-up. I wish I had known everything I know now because I could have unpackaged and set-up with myself and a friend. It does require heavy lifting so you will need to assess your capabilities."

This is a great product.

"This is a great product. I would consider myself a pretty avid runner. I've done 25 marathons including 15 Boston's. I got this for winter training in New England. It is much harder to run on than regular treadmills or on the roads. But that is the beauty of this machine. It will make running on the roads easier. My wife and teenage boys also use it for training and they get good results as well. Buy this treadmill if you want a killer workout and help running with good form."
