NubisLite Portable Massage Table

The NubisLite Portable Massage Table is the world's lightest massage therapy table, and the first built around a single inflatable air chamber. The table itself starts at 4.8 kg (10.6 lb). The full kit, with transport bag, hand pump, headrest and cover, starts at 9.5 kg (20.9 lb) and carries on your back. The bag fits public transport and small cars. It comes in four heights, from 58 to 79 cm, with a hand pump or an electric pump in the package.

It is made for therapists who work in the field: at events, on home visits, in pop-up clinics and on the road. One air chamber and one valve replace the folding frame, and there is nothing to assemble. Inflate the table and start your session.

Going light does not cost you load rating. NubisLite holds 150 kg (330 lb), enough for the patient and the therapist to both be on it during a technique that calls for it. It stays stable whatever technique you use.

How it works

A pneumatic table built for mobile therapists, with one air pathway, one valve and one treatment surface.

Single-chamber high-pressure construction

NubisLite uses one high-pressure air chamber with one valve, not a multi-section frame or segmented bladders. There is no aluminum frame to carry, and without one the table weighs far less. Pressurized air does the structural work, and the surface stays solid through deep-tissue work, percussive techniques and stretching.

Plug 'n' Play inflation

No frame to extend, no legs to lock and no tools. Inflate the table, attach the headrest, put on the cover and you are ready to work. The hand pump in the Basic package inflates the table in 2.5 to 3 minutes. The high-pressure electric pump in the Electric package is faster still.

Pneumatic construction

Air does the structural work

Most portable massage tables use a folding aluminum or steel frame. The frame gives them stability, and it also makes them heavy, bulky and slow to set up. NubisLite has no frame. Pressurized air in a single high-pressure chamber forms the whole body of the table. It stays firm under load and under technique at a fraction of the weight.

The complete kit of table, headrest, cover, hand pump and transport bag starts at 9.5 kg. It packs into a backpack-sized bag of 70 x 37 x 27 cm (27.6 x 14.6 x 10.6 in.). Take the bus to a home visit, walk between event venues, or share a trunk with everything else you need that day. Add the optional trolley and you can wheel the bag instead of carrying it.

Both packages come with the same NubisLite table in your chosen height, headrest, black cover and transport bag. The difference is how you bring the table up to working pressure. Basic uses a hand pump: quiet, and no outlet needed. Electric adds the electric pump for the fastest turnaround between sessions, in EU or US plug versions.

In place of a folding metal frame, NubisLite uses a single high-pressure air chamber. Pressurized air forms the structural body of the table, and the surface stays solid through deep-tissue, percussive and stretching techniques. The load rating is high enough for both the patient and the therapist to be on the table during techniques that call for it.

With the Electric package, the electric pump inflates the table in under 40 seconds. With the Basic package, the hand pump takes 2.5 to 3 minutes. There is no frame to extend and nothing to level: connect the pump, let the table take shape and attach the headrest.

In the Basic package with the hand pump, the full kit weighs 9.5 kg (size S), 9.9 kg (M) or 10.3 kg (L). With the electric pump it weighs 11.2 kg (S), 11.6 kg (M) or 12.0 kg (L), all in one bag.

The treatment surface is 200 x 75 cm (78.7 x 29.5 in.): a 175 cm table plus a 25 cm headrest. The length and width are the same on every size.
