Hyperice X 2 Shoulder Wrap

The Hyperice X 2 Shoulder Wrap is a fully electronic contrast therapy wrap for the shoulder, with heat, cold and air compression set from an OLED display on the wrap. It handles the warm-up before training and the cool-down after, with cold down to 40°F and heat up to 121°F. Five levels of compression push the temperature deeper into the tissue. It switches between hot and cold in seconds, so a contrast session runs without a break. A 12V wall charger and AC cable ship with the wrap, which weighs 2.5 lbs and fits either shoulder.

Heat climbs through five levels from 105°F to 121°F, and cold drops through five levels from 60°F down to 40°F, with compression in five steps from 80 to 160 mmHg.

How it works

Targeted Thermal Therapy
Five heat levels and five cold levels share one surface, with heat stepping up about 4°F at a time and cold stepping down 5°F at a time. The wrap switches between hot and cold in seconds, with no ice and nothing to swap.

"Works well, first use and shoulder pain subsided. Need to continue normal use to get maximum exposure but my only caveat is that it really is designed for more muscular individuals. The area around the shoulder and neck does not conform well well enough to average individuals or to women. The device needs to be more flexible and conforming to all users. That's why I can't give it a 5-star rating."
