Heat And Normatec Compression. In One Boot. On Your Feet.

Hyperboot by Nike × Hyperice

The Hyperboot puts two Hyperice modalities into the same shell: three levels of controlled heat and three levels of Normatec dynamic air compression, wrapped around the foot and ankle in a high-top boot. A session runs 15 minutes per cycle, and the boots run on their own batteries, so the session happens while you stand at a counter, sit at a desk or wait at a gate.

Heat runs 111°F, 118°F and 125°F. Compression runs 50, 130 and 210 mmHg through dual-air Normatec bladders bonded to the warming elements. Three modes cover heat with massage, massage on its own, and a heat-only setting that holds a light 30 mmHg. Controls sit on the boot itself, and Bluetooth® connects the pair to the Hyperice App.

Spec Sheet

Two Recovery Modalities. One Device. Worn On Your Feet.

Heat and Normatec compression normally arrive as two pieces of equipment. Here they share one battery-powered boot, one 15-minute cycle and one set of controls.

🔥
Three Levels Of Controlled Heat
Level 1 runs 111°F (44°C), Level 2 runs 118°F (48°C) and Level 3 runs 125°F (52°C). The warming elements are bonded into the upper, and Hyperice's stated aim for that construction is even heat across the whole upper and into the muscle and tissue of the feet and ankles. Hyperice recommends starting at Level 1 and working up.

💨
Dual-Air Normatec Bladders
Three levels of compression: 50, 130 and 210 mmHg. Hyperice describes the mechanism as dual-air Normatec bladders bonded to heating elements, and gives no chamber count for the boot. The 210 mmHg ceiling is high for a Normatec device; the Normatec Elite boots top out at 110 mmHg over a much longer stretch of leg.

Therapy & Power
A session runs 15 minutes per cycle and can be repeated on the boot or extended in the app. Three modes are available: Warm-up pairs heat with massage, Recovery runs massage on its own, and Heat only runs the heater while holding pressure at 30 mmHg. Battery is 1 to 1.5 hours on maximum heat and compression, charged by a 5V dual wall charger.

Build & Dimensions
Each boot measures 12 × 5 × 9.5 in and weighs 3.5 lb, in a high-top shape that closes over the ankle. The shoes are IP54 rated, which Hyperice defines as protected from dust and water splashes and not waterproof. Five sizes run from S to XXL.

Features

Three Things That Make The Hyperboot Different

Advanced Heating & Massage

Dual-Air Normatec Bladders Bonded To Warming Elements

The two systems share one structure. Hyperice describes dual-air Normatec bladders bonded to heating elements, with the warming built into the upper so heat spreads across the whole enclosed area while the bladders pulse underneath. The company gives no chamber count for the boot, only the bladder description, so that is what is stated here.

  • Warming elements bonded directly into the upper
  • Dual-air Normatec bladders for pulsing compression
  • Hyperice states the construction drives heat into the muscle and tissue of the feet and ankles
  • Level 3 reaches 125°F (52°C) heat and 210 mmHg compression
  • Level 1 starts at 111°F (44°C) and 50 mmHg
  • Level 2 sits between them at 118°F (48°C) and 130 mmHg

Everything You Need To Start Your First Session

A Fully Mobile High-Top Device For Warm-Ups, Cool-Downs, And Travel Days

No cord runs to the boot during a session. Each one carries its own battery, rated at 1 to 1.5 hours on maximum heat and maximum compression, and both charge together from the supplied 5V dual wall charger. The box holds the pair, the charger and two cords, and nothing else is needed to run the first cycle.

  • 2 Hyperboot devices, left and right in your selected size
  • 5V dual wall charger, which charges both boots from one outlet
  • 2 USB-A to USB-C charging cords, one per boot
  • Fully mobile, with no cord required during use
  • 1 to 1.5 hours of battery on max heat & compression
  • Hyperice lists the Hyperboot as TSA friendly
  • Walk, stand, sit, or travel while wearing

Elsewhere In The Range

What Else Hyperice Builds Around Heat And Compression

The Hyperboot is the only device that carries heat and Normatec compression in the same shell, so there is no direct equivalent to line it up against. What the range does offer is each half of that combination applied to a larger area of the leg.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

It applies two things at once to the foot and ankle: controlled heat at three levels and Normatec dynamic air compression at three levels. Hyperice's own description of the purpose is to accelerate warm-up and recovery. What the specification states is the mechanism: heat from warming elements bonded into the upper, compression from dual-air Normatec bladders, in cycles of 15 minutes.
Three levels. Level 1 is 111°F (44°C), Level 2 is 118°F (48°C) and Level 3 is 125°F (52°C). Hyperice notes that sensitivity to heat varies from person to person, and advises finding the setting that suits you, and starting at Level 1.
There are three levels of compression: 50, 130, and 210 mmHg. There is also a fourth pressure state, used by the heat-only mode, which holds a light 30 mmHg while the heater runs.
Three. Warm-up combines heat with Normatec massage. Recovery runs Normatec massage on its own. Heat only is what you get by setting compression to 0 and choosing a heat level: the device holds pressure at 30 mmHg and runs the heater.
Press and hold the power button for 0.5 seconds. Once both shoes are on, select your compression and heat level, then press the Start/Stop button.
A Hyperboot session runs for 15 minutes per cycle. Hyperice recommends starting with one 15-minute session on Level 1 heat and Level 1 compression, then working up. Cycles can be repeated on the boot itself, or the duration can be extended in the Hyperice App.
Yes, across five sizes. Hyperice's chart is built on foot length, with US shoe-size equivalents given alongside. S: foot length 6 to 8 in, approx. 15 to 20 cm, Men's US 6 to 8 / Women's US 7.5 to 9.5. M: 8.5 to 10 in, approx. 22 to 25 cm, Men's US 8.5 to 10 / Women's US 10 to 11.5. L: 10.5 to 12 in, approx. 27 to 30 cm, Men's US 10.5 to 12 / Women's US 12 to 13.5. XL: 12.5 to 14 in, approx. 32 to 36 cm, Men's US 12.5 to 14 / Women's US 14 to 15.5. XXL: 14.5 to 16 in, approx. 37 to 41 cm, Men's US 14.5 to 16 / Women's US 16 to 17.5. Measuring your foot length is the more reliable route, since the size steps are defined that way.
Yes. Hyperice states the Hyperboot should always be worn with tall athletic socks that cover any part of the foot or leg within the boot. Sensitivity to heat differs from person to person, and what one person finds comfortable another may find very hot. Hyperice's guidance is that you should not feel pain or discomfort while using it, and that if you do, you should turn the boots off and remove them immediately.
Yes. Hyperice states the Hyperboot can be used while standing, walking, sitting, or traveling. Nothing tethers the boots to an outlet during a session, which is what makes that possible.
Hyperice rates the battery at 1 to 1.5 hours on max heat and compression, which is the heaviest possible draw; lighter settings ask less of it. Charging is by the supplied 5V dual wall charger with two USB-A to USB-C cords, one per boot, so both charge from a single outlet. Hyperice does not publish a charge time or a battery capacity.
No. The shoes are IP54 rated, which Hyperice defines as protected from dust and water splashes but not waterproof. Treat splashes and dust as covered, and immersion as out of scope.
Hyperice's specification list describes the Hyperboot as TSA friendly, and that is the wording used here. At 3.5 lb per boot and 12 × 5 × 9.5 in, the pair takes real space in a bag, so plan for that alongside the charger and cords. Airline and security rules can change, so check current guidance before you fly.
Hyperice does not publish a chamber count for the Hyperboot. The only description given is dual-air Normatec bladders bonded to heating elements. Zone and chamber counts published for Normatec boots belong to those products and do not transfer to this one.
Three things: 2 Hyperboot devices in your selected size, a 5V dual wall charger, and 2 USB-A to USB-C charging cords. Both boots are ready to wear out of the box.
Yes. Hyperice lists the Hyperboot as FSA/HSA eligible, so it can be paid for with pre-tax health dollars where your plan allows it.
The Recovery For Athletes listing carries a 5 out of 5 rating from 37 verified reviews. Reviews describe individual experiences and are not product specifications; the figures on this page are the ones Hyperice publishes.
